I use OE 6.0 and Win XP SP2.
In the email header I get a Chinese charactor instead of the danish
character whereas in the email body the danish characters show correctly. Any
idea?
I use Windows European (ISO) encoding

Is this for messages you are sending or messages you are receiving or
both?
If you look at the Message Source (Ctrl-F3) for a problem message, does
the header include the character set specification?
You mention that you use Windows European (ISO) encoding. There are
multiple places to specify that.
- Tools, Options, Send, International
- Tools, Options, Read, Font
- Tools, Options, Read, International
- When composing a message, look in Format, Encoding
