Yesterday, tried to send e-mail with two pictures having
.JPG extensions. There were direct from my digital camera,
not something I received from strangers.
But OE6 displays an alert
OE has removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your
mail:
I have sent dozens of pictures before without any hassle.
What gives?

Your post suggests the alert occurs when you try to send an attachment. That
is usually only seen when you receive an attachment. See if this helps.
Tools | Options | Security. Uncheck: "Do not allow
attachments................."

What if you copy the JPG files to My Pictures and try attaching them from
there?

Do not send mail.

Are you seeing that in the sent items folder? If so, the attachments
did send and the recipient received them subject to any restrictions on
their end.
