POP3 in OUTLOOK Express6 resetting

At restart all my account on outlook ex6 POP3 is automatically resetting to
127.0.0.1.
What's this?
Any help?

That is probably caused by your Antivirus Application scanning your mail.
Disable the incoming & outgoing scan in it, as it serves no useful purpose,
so long as you keep the main definitions up to date.

Did you replace '127.0.0.1' with the correct POP3 servername (e.g.,
pop3.aliceposta.it) in Tools > Accounts > Mail > [mail account] > Properties

Yes, I did.
At restart it will change again. Found some tips on iternet; it seems to be
a McAfee SpamKiller problem, but I still need to check.

Thanks to all,
it was McAfee SpamKiller. had to get rid of it. VirusScan e-mail (in-out)
doesn't pose problems. I'll post the issue to McAfee and let the group know.

Scanning the email with your anti-virus slows down sending and receiving and
offers no protection over having the anti-virus running without email
scanning.
