It would be nice to have OE secure with the capability to store web names,
user names and passwords. In this way I could invoke OE to automatically log
on to my favorite web sites. Perhaps a password generator could be included.
Perhaps this capability should be included in Internet Explorer? This would
make life much simpler. Are add ons available which do this?

MS Outlook Express is a main and news client, not a web browser. It is also
"end of life"; don't expect any enhancements.

I think you mean IE when you typed OE.

And IE does have the ability to store user names and  passwords for web
sites.

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6/7
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/default.mspx
There select Internet Explorer
