I must of changed something but suddenly for no apparent reason when I click
on an Email attachment windows media player pops up and says no view is
available.

If I copy the attachment to a folder and request it be opened by outlook
express I can open it.

Looks like I somehow made media player the default program.

How can I change the default program for attachments back to outlook
express?

Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Find and choose a program that works and then check the box: Always
use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open
these attachments in the future.
