Sorry to ask this again but the last answer I got didn't do the job

I have tried to transfer OE to a new computer. Thus far I have managed to
get  my mailboxes and mail messages restored to the new computer

However what I need to do is  transfer the newsgroup tree and all my saved
NG messages to the new computer without laboriously starting each NG again
And ré--creating the whole trees  again.

I do seem to  have all the DBX folders on the new computer.  QuickBackup
seems to have backed everything up but not restored these NG records: How do
I get them into the  tree view please?

Unless you "cloned" your identity, newsgroups do not import, nor export. I
don't know what the last answer you received advised you about this.

That is used to export/import an IAF file containing your news account
settings (only).

You didn't ask about newsgroups in either of your previous threads:

OK Thanks for the responses guys: Actually I thought that  my questions were
only directed to restoring newsgroup settings? But I know when I am beat!
