I recently removed all of the addresses from the Blocked Senders list to
attempt to solve another problem, that of emails being deleted without my
permission. I thought if the Blocked Senders list was empty, there would be
no confusion. But the next day after, the same names and addresses were all
back and re-checked again in the list. How did this happen, and is there an
easier way to remove them all at one time instead of each one separately? I
have Outlook Express SP2 XP Pro.
Thanks,
Sanr

1.. Close OE and then In Regedit, navigate to this key:
|--HKEY_CURRENT_USER
|-----Identities
|--------{GUID}
|-----------Software
|--------------Microsoft
|-----------------Outlook Express
|--------------------5.0
where GUID is the Global Unique IDentifier for your Identity.
2.. Under that key, you will find the following sub-keys, among
others:
|-----------------------Block Senders
|-----------------------Rules
|-----------------------Signatures
Select the Block Senders Key and delete it. Blocked Senders will be empty,
but you can rebuild it now.

- After making any changes to the Message Rules or Blocked Sender list,
you must use the OK button to close the main dialog that shows the list
of message rules or blocked senders. If you use the Cancel button or
the X to close that dialog, the changes you just made are thrown away.
