I am using XP and OE7. No matter how many times I set OE to save my
password it will not. Each time I open OE and each time I click send or
check mail it demands I type in the password again. Please help.

There is no OE7. OE6 is the end of the line.

There ain't no OE7.
Assuming you've installed IE7 and are referring to a Hotmail account...
Authentication fails when you use Outlook or Outlook Express to try to log
on to a HTTP-based mail server if you use Internet Explorer version 7.0
