'to' changes when eml moved?

Hi,

Minor thing but interesting:

To avoid build up of separate archives on laptop and pc, when on the laptop
( and having my Virgin account set to leave copy on server) I have been
moving emls from my local folders sent items box to my Hotmail sent items
box, which I can then file in my main local folders when I get back on the
pc, where the eml is kept.

Trouble is, when I move them they become 'To me' in the folder, even though
the 'To' in the eml itself when opened is left unchanged.  Makes a mess of
the sortability.

Why does the 'To' change?

Because local folders have the same properties as  Sent Items  not the Inbox.

Can you expand a little: I don't see any difference other than there is a
synchronisation tab on the hotmail sent items folder?
