After I add a account column in the message view window, only some the
emails showed account name. There are a couple of the email accounts show
blank in this column. I have checked the account settings, couldn't find any
differences between the email accounts that have the name in the account
column and those do not . I mean all the fields in the account setting are
filled info.
Anybody knows why this is happening?

I believe it will only show the account for email that is received after
enabling the column.

Are you dealing with POP3, IMAP or HTTP accounts?

What folders are you seeing the issue in?  Inbox, Sent Items, etc.?

For a POP3 account, it should reflect the account that downloaded the
message.

If you imported EML files, they won't have any account information.  The
same may be true for message imported from a DBX file.

Also, if you deleted and then added back an account, you may not have
the account information for the previous messages.

Mike, Thank you for the reply.

Those accounts are POP3 accounts. I don't think I have changed anything on
the account settings. Older messages do have the account names showing in
the account name column. And two accounts started to missing account names a
couple of days ago.
