My e-mail will send through hotmail however when using outlook it sits in my outbox for days before sending. I can receive e-mails through outlook and hotmail. In addition the folders keep synchronizing with no end in sight. It was working fine and stopped all of a sudden. Outlook and Outlook Express are entirely different programs. Outlook EXPRESS, the topic of this newsgroup, does not support connecting to an Exchange mail host. If you are using Outlook, are you actually using Exchange as your mail host? If not, don't define an Exchange account in Outlook because, as you've seen, it tries to connect but can't find an Exchange mail host.
