Windows version? Read your post. How exactly did you delete the messages?

Windows XP. In McAfee security center I can maintain my pc in a program called
McAfee QickClean. Here I unfortunately put a hook for clean the outgoing
e-mail in my Outlook Express program.
There is 2 different possibilities to delete here. One is with McAfee
Shredder that will remove the deleted items for ever.
But I did'nt use the Shredder, I used the "normal" windows deleting prosedure.

McAfee has a long history (over ten years) of screwing up OE.  Get rid of
it.

Your only chance of recovery would be the extract from disk feature of
DBXpress (www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/) and it is questionable whether or not
that would succeed.  McAfee is known to cause other OE issues.  See
