Er...?

What password are you talking about...? The adminstrator's password which
you typed in during the install process...?

Hmm...

So you're asking in a Microsoft newsgroup how to hack into an installation
of Windows 2003...?

This has nothing to do with Virtual PC...

If you've misplaced the password you were prompted during installation
of Windows Server 2003 you haven't gained or lost anything in that
Server.  Delete the virtual disk and start over, it takes a few minutes.

You need to log in to activate Windows so you've really lost nothing by
re-installing - except time.  Remember the password next time.

Did you really *install* W2003 onto a previously virgin VPC guest
disk?
Or did you copy a VHD virtual drive file from someone who has already
installed W2003 to it and then you created a new guest pointing to
this VHD file?

In the first case you *are* prompted during install for a password!
In the latter case the password belongs to the guy who did the
original install and thus he will have to share it.

In some cases an empty password can work.

and you find can out how to reset passwords easily by using this
amazing new thing called "google". Yep, it just came out like 9-10
years ago so it's not suprising that you may not have heard of it.
