My Settings for Internet Connection:
                     Number of Adaptors:  2

                     Adaptor 1:  Local
                     Adaptor 2:  Intel(R) Pro/100 ... (My NIC card)

I have installed a WinXP and a Windows Server 2003 Machine within MS Virtual
PC 2007.  At the LOGON screen, both machines are prompting me to activiate
the product.  When I attempted to activate through the network connection,
the process failed with an "unable to establish connection" message is
returned with a menu for a telephone activiation.  The telephone activation
did not work, which I've addressed with MS.

Have I mis-configured the machines?

This should work - but you may want to try switching the connections
(have adapter 2 connect to the local only network).

Cheers,
Benjamin Armstrong
