i don't know why the only os that i can't make work on VPC is mandriva linux
when i get to the end of the boot, the screen gets all weird but all
throughout the boot the display is really nice colors are very high
definition, can anyone think of a reason why it act weird like that,

notice i'm not asking for help with linux, so there no need to tell me this
is for windows newsgroup or what ever only need to know why the screen acts
weird is it a driver issue, is it because VPC don't support most of os that
isn't windows, plz help

This is a well documented issue.  Many newer linux distros use 24-bit
color in their setup and install screens.  VPC does not support 24-bit
color, so you need to manually set the color depth to 16 or 32bit
color, or do a text installation and manually configure X settings for
16 or 32bit color.
