Windows Forum / Virtual PC / September 2007screen problem

Many newer linux distros use 24-bit color in their setup and install screens. VPC does not support 24-bit color, so you need to manually set the color depth to 16 or 32bit color, or do a text installation and manually configure X settings for 16 or 32bit color.
