Things are happened as below...

I was developing my programs using VPC starting from today morning.
However the VPC crashes (or actually my physical harddisk crashes? God
knows) near the end of day. Then I cannot restart the VPC until I ran
chkdsk on my physical harddisk. Everything seems to be working fine
EXCEPT the VPC image has been restored as the image in the morning,
with last modified time equals to 8 o'clock something (which means
everything I done today has been lost)!

However I found another file named as "<imagename>.v01" from the
folder used to hold the VPC harddisk, with last modify time 6pm, and I
guess it holds all works I did today!

Anyone has the experience on saving those data, could you please
suggest what to do? I will get crazy if all things need to redo..

Many Thanks!

Do you have Undo Disks enabled?  Are you discarding changes when you
shutdown the VM?
