How to send a @ character to the guest?

It seems a nightmare to me.
I just received the W2003 Dynamics AX4 virtual machine.
I installed VirtualPC2004SP1, and I properly connected the virtual
machine to the consolle.
I run the guest system. But the preconfigured password contains a @
character.
Unfortunately, the VirtualPC2004 software doesn't allow RightAlt+'ò'
(that's the combination to obtain @ on italian keyboards).
Host key is right Shift, not the RightAlt key, so I'm definitely not
able to login and try AX4...

Maybe a different key combination exists to obtain @ character...

Try holding down the Alt (not the Right-Alt) key and typing 0064 on the
numeric keypad.

If that doesn't work, try 2 or Shift-2
