Hello,

I am trying to drag and drop files and folders to the VPC desktop or VPC
Windows Explorer from Windows Explorer on my physical computer but it
doesn't work. I have the Virtual Machine Additions enabled and I have
rebooted my computer but no luck. I left-click the file or folder and drag
but only get a circle with a line through it.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

What happens if you try and go from inside the virtual machine to on the
physical computers desktop?

Same thing. It doesn't work. What I have done is enable file sharing so that
I can look at files on my physical computer from Windows Explorer on the VPC
and I have been able to successfully exchange files back and forth that way.
But no drag and drop. It's okay, file sharing while in Windows Explorer on
the VPC serves the purpose.

Thanks for posting.

Do you ever receive an error message around drag and drop?  Also - are
you able to resize the virtual machine Window dynamically?

I can resize the VPC dynamically but never receive an error message during
drag and drop. Thanks for thinking about this.

To be honest - I am somewhat stumped by this.  Are you running as an
administrator in both environments?
