Virtual domain and PPC

Hi,

I'v set-up a lab to simulate merge replication of SQL-Server. This lab has
it's own domain, so one of the server is a DC. The other are principally
Windows Server with SQL-Server.

To access this servers, I've added a lookback card on the computer hosting
the lab. Adding this card in the proporties / cards of every virtual server
make everything working fine.

So accessing one virtual server (the IIS responsible for the replication)
wotks:
1) from everywhere into the domain
2) from the computer hosting the lab
3) from a PPC, using the device emulator embeded with VS2008 (need few
coniguration ...)

My point now is to be able to access this virtual server from a physical PPC
that is docked into a cradle, linked via usb to the PC hosting the lab and
using WMDC for the communication.

Any help (or how to ...) is welcome

The problem will be that the physical PPC will not be in the same network
as the servers. The PPC and the host machine (via the USB network
connection) are in one network, while the virtual servers and the host's
loopback adapter are in another network.

The first thing to try is to bridge the two connections on the host.
What OS is running on the host machine?

My host OS is Vista.

One more thing : On my PPC, when I try to reach the vistual IIS server using
the IP, it's always the IIS on my host who respond, no matter if I use
1.1.1.1 or 99.99.99.99 as IP.

Thanks for your help.

If you are using Vista, search Help and Support for Network Bridge. It
will tell you how to bridge the two connections. You can then give the PPC
and the virtual machines IP addresses in the same IP subnet as they will be
in the same network.
