I had a look at the CD, and found out that it isn't a Windows XP CD, it's
just a CD copy of my PC's recovery program...
If I was to borrow a Windows XP CD from my friend and it's licence doesn't
allow it to be installed on multiple computers, I know it won't pass Genuine
Advantage on Virtual PC but will it stop my friends PC from passing?

You need to own the license for the Windows you are installing and it cannot
be in use on any other computer.
