Windows Forum / Virtual PC / May 2008Ubuntu 8.04 install fails...
Trying to create a virtual machine from the iso... I get nothing after the colored splashscreen except the cursor sitting in the top left corned of the screen. I've given it a gig of memory and still nada. Anyone? PCLinuxOS installs fine and is a much better looking desktop than Urbuttoo. Alt-Ctrl-F4 doesn't work; no PF keys do... And of course this causes problems for non-US users who need the right-Alt as an AltGr key to enter characters like \ $ £ []{} etc. These users should change the host key in the VPC2007 configuration fort the keyboard.
