Alt-Ctrl-F4 doesn't work; no PF keys do...
Don't know why...
Use the left <Alt>
The right <Alt> is trapped for the <Host> key in VPC.

And of course this causes problems for non-US users who need the
right-Alt as an AltGr key to enter characters like \ $ £ []{} etc.
These users should change the host key in the VPC2007 configuration
fort the keyboard.

Will try that, but I typically use the left keys for virtual machines.
Nope, neither side of Alts or Ctrls works...
Base OS is WXP SP3.
Hope someone has an answer.
TIA.

Uh, it's the wireless MS keyboard. Pressing F-Lock gets my F4.
Am trying Ubuntu now... we'll see if it installs or not.
Thanks again.

After running for an hour on a black screen I killed it.
How long should this take?
Thanks!
