Windows Forum / Virtual PC / May 2008Where can I find the Virtual PC Additions
I am trying to find the location to down load Virtual PC Additions. I have tried the “Action” window in the Virtual PC Console, but there is no down load option. I am running Vista Home Premium as the host operating system & XP Pro Operating System in a Virtual PC machine 6.0.1.156.0. Where can I find the Additions? They are installed on your computer when you install VPC. The item on the Action Menu is Install or Update the Virtual Machine Additions, not download them. What happens when you use the Action Menu item while the virtual machine is running (it must be running to install the vm adds)? The vm adds .iso is in the Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Virtual PC/Virtual Machine Additions folder. >I am trying to find the location to down load Virtual PC Additions. No, you are looking at the wrong Action Menu. You are looking on the Virtual PC Console. That is not the virtual machine.
