I didn't see the win2008 server on the host list, but will vpc install and
run on it?  I am assuming it will because win2003 server is listed.

Cancel that! On the download page it does run on the win2008...

Only supports win2008 standard as a guest.   I have the Data Center version
of 2008.  Will they come out with a SP for all version of 2008 servers?

Not likely, no. If you're running Server 2008 Data Center then Virtual PC
is likely not what you should be running in the first place. You also need
to keep in mind that "supported" and works or doesn't work are completely
different issues. Supported means that the combination has been thoroughly
tested and is a combination supported by Microsoft Customer Support
Services. Just because a combination is not supported doesn't mean it won't
work.
If you're host OS is Data Center, why would you want to run VPC?

I see, wasn't aware of that.....

In this case will MOM R2 install and work then, because I assumed it
wouldn't so I was going to us VPC w/win2000 for MOM...

My over all objective is to run VS R2 on top of win2008 w/win2008 Web
Server...  this web server is going to be used for internet services.  I
don't want the users connecting to the Host (win2008 Data Center) but the
VS.

It will, but why on earth would you want to install VPC on a machine which
already has Hyper-V...?

Now this is what I am talking about!  Thanks for making me aware of
this!....

I can remove VS R2 right, because I don't need it?
