Sounds like they're trying to resolve network connectivity. Are you
changing the NIC in the VMs you're using to the wired NIC? If not,
they're probably trying to resolve DNS, etc, with no network
connection.

Thanks for the prompt response. I don't know if it is a DNS problem or not.
When I am using the wired LAN, I actually disable the wireless NIC in the VM
Setup so that there isn't a conflict. When wireless I do the same (disable
wired and enable wireless).
There definitely is no problem with the wireless system. I have even gone
as far as to remove (clear out) entries in the VMC file so that the
application would refresh this information. This did not make a difference.

Just to clarify, when you say you're disabling the wireless NIC in the
VM setup, do you mean you're selecting the Wired NIC in the Network
Settings for the VM?
