Softice and Trw2000 with win98

Hi guys,
Has anyone tried to install softice or trw2000 under win98? I have tried
VMWare but win98 just crashed on startup. Anyone tried that because if not,
I won't even bother...

Under VPC?  It's unlikely to work, SoftIce detects the VM thinks
you're hacking it  and won't run.
