Hello all
I have installed Win Me into VirtualPC running on an XP Pro host.
I have installed Doom into the Win Me vm, but when I try to run it I
get:
Z_ChangeTag: an owner is required for purgable blocks
and it stops.
Can anyone help ?

Why are you running all of these games in VPC?

For DOS games without a Windows port use DOSBox: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

For DOOM engine games use Doomsday or another port: http://www.doomsdayhq.com/

VPC isn't for games.

Purely for my own information/amusement. :-)
I have also tried them in DosBox and VirtualBox on both Windows XP and
PXLinuxOS. Havent tried Doomsday yet, though.
Again, purely for my own information/amusement.
For the same reason I have virtual machines of Wfw3.11, Win95 and Win
Me running in VirtualBox on XP and Linux and VirtualPC on XP.
