I have been able to load w2k and w2k server as my DC. I
can't seem to load sql server from my CD's that are SCSI.
It took several tries to get the first 2 os loaded. I
tried mounting the CD to an NTFS disk but still could not
load. I created an .Iso and put on desktop but same
results. Any tips or does Virtual PC2004 just not work
with SCSI cd drives?
I'm told it also doesn't work with USB drives. Any
suggestions before I put out the money for an ide cd rom
drive. Really don't want it in my system.

Have you checked the CD on another machine to be sure
that it is not damaged?  Once you made an .iso file out
of it, the fact that it was done from a scsi CD-ROM drive
doesn't matter any more.  If the disk was read properly
the .iso file should be able to be captured by VPC, but
if the disk is damaged so the data can't be read
correctly then the .iso won't work either.

Virtual PC should have no problems using a SCSI CDROM.
