I am using a trial version of VPC2004 and need to use a
legecy application/DOS to connect to an old Novell server.
I configured and loaded DOS 6.2 w CD support, setting
internal NIC and the external PCI NIC(3c905b TX)up in
the "Settings" tab.
The problem: Select nic#2= #c905Btx
LSL - loads great(dos Prompt)
3c90x - can not find the hardware because the IRQ is
looking at "0"(zero) instead of IRQ-10(DOS 6.22)
configuration while the SLOT and BUS are correct and
configure in the "Net.cfg" file.
Not an option to use Nic#1 since no DOS drivers for the
on-board "intel(r)pro 1000 MT" could be found.
Does anybody have a way to set the IRQ=10 using DOS
drivers for the 3C905B-TX(this card tested and works in a
true DOS machine)

Hi,

The NIC that VPC emulates is a DEC / Intel 21140A, not your host's NIC
