Whenever I have a VPC open, in Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, my cursor acts like the shift key pressed.
Example: If I'm in a text document, whenever I move my cursor with the arrow keys all the text before or after where my cursor begins is highlighted.
I would appriciate any solutions anyone has to this.

This problem occurs frequently with foreign keyboards.  You can try to press
the Left-Ctrl key one or two time to reactivate the correct pressed state.

A better solution is to use another host key, like Right-Ctrl instead of
Right-Alt key.  This will probably correct the problem.
