VPC 2004 does not reconize NEC DYD-ROM physical drive

Hi ,
I have WIN XP host and created a virtual hd and began installing win95B.  
Everything worked fine except the installation stops with the following
message:

Do I need to install my NEC DVD-ROM drivers? or????

Virtual PC emulates a standard IDE CDROM drive - Windows will need to
use the OAK driver to use the CDROM.
