We have DOS 6.22 as the guest on a WinXP system. Many times (but not
always) we cannot access FDD A: (1.4) on the first attempt--we get the usual
Abort Retry Ignore. We can always access on the second attempt i.e. Retry.
However, this is screwing up some of our batch files. What can we do to
remedy this?
Also, I notice a mention of VPC 2007. Is this an upgrade to VPC 2004 or the
VPC Server product?

VPC 2007 is in beta. It is the next edition of VPC. It is not a Server
product. VPC provides support for Vista among other improvements.
