Hi,

I am looking at having a VISTA 64 workstation running VPC2007 with at least
2 hard drives. This way I can slowly migrate my 32 bit apps to VISTA 64 when
they are able. Would a dual boot of VISTA 64 and XP 32 bit be a better bet
than hosting XP 32 bit under VPC2007 running under VISTA 64 as the host?

This forum has helped me tremendously in the past with my plans.

Thanks

Chris

It depends on the apps and whether or not they require devices that cannot
be supported in VPC.  In general it is detrimental to your Vista recovery
options to dual boot any flavor of Vista with any flavor of XP so if all
your needs can be met by running XP in a virtual machine I recommend that.

Thanks again for your advice Colin. I hope that VPC2007 can do everything
that it is supposed to do.

It does for me but your mileage may vary.  Good luck with it!
