I have Virtual PC 2007 running under XP SP 2.  In a Windows NT 4
SP6 virtual machine, is it possible to see a peripheral (e.g., a scanner
or, what I really want, a scientific instrument) connected to a SCSI card?
I'm testing with an old HP flat-bed scanner before I interrupt a day's
work in a lab--I can use the scanner in the host OS but the SCSI
adapter does not show up in Settings in VPC or on the Control Panel
in NT 4.  I've installed the driver for the card and NT logs an error
when booting (driver's there, card isn't--boy I've forgotten a lot
about NT...).

Thanks,
Gord

The vm does not see the peripherals connected to the host. It only sees
its own set of devices which are described in the help files for VPC.  The
only exceptions are mouse and keyboard and serial and printer ports.
