I receintly downloaded and installed the trial version of XP x64 Ed. on my
64bit, dual core PC. Under 2000/XP 32bit as an admin I am used to be able to
right click on any file or folder, goto Properties and I could see a security
tab that would allow me to specify which users have access and diferent
levels of access. Is this feature not available on the x64 Ed. or did I
forget to activate something?

Yeah, it's available. You have to disable simple file sharing.

Go to Control Panel / Folder Options and select the View tab. Then
scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list and uncheck the box
that says, 'Use simple file sharing (Recommended)'

Thanks. Folder options... Doh! Sometimes it's just that simple.

It was a good question and one that diserved an answer.

This is part of the FAQ that I'm working on right now which I wanted to
release by the end of the month. Might need another week or so though.
