icons/screen

all the boxes that pop up and the icons on my desktop have suddenly gotten
huge.
the font is still the same size though. ive tried going to start,control
panel, display etc. to change it but the box to have large icons is not
checked so i cant simply uncheck it.
im out of ideas.

Did you try "Screen resolutions" on the page you go to when you click the
"Settings" tabe when you get to "Display" under the Control Panel?
(Let me reverse that: If you go to Display via Control Panel, there is a tab
marked Settings. When you click on that you should see a slider bar under
the heading "screen resolution.")
