Windows 95 won't pull up all i get is the ms dos mode
prompt and a error for Bios error code/ need to create Ms
dos boot partition to set up windows / HPFS or NTFS
system. ini not working

I also have a windows 98se that needs the first edition
98 and I have misplaced it and cannot start up my 233mhz
computer either. This is so frustrating. Please could
you send me a new one. I have no internet access at all
and that one has an error of KERNEL not present need to
install windows 98, i have the second edition.

Check that you haven't left a floppy disk in the floppy disk drive.

Get a Windows 95 boot disk at www.bootdisk.com. Boot to DOS and do
FDISK /Status
and post the results here. Then do
DIR C:
and note whether you can see the files you expect to see in the root of the
C: drive, such as the WINDOWS folder.
