Go to http://www.crucial.com and look up your computer's manufacturer
and model number.  It will tell you what type of memory your computer
uses and what the maximum amount is.  You can order memory on that
site, at another web site, at office supply and computer stores, etc.

Go to this site to see if your computer meets the minimum hardware
requirements for Windows XP:

Windows XP Home Edition System Requirements
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/howtobuy/upgrading/sysreqs.asp

Unfortunately, most computers that came with Windows 95 can't run
Windows XP -- they don't have a fast enough processor, enough disk
space or memory, etc.
