I know in WinXP I can do "msconfig" to eliminate certain
items from running in background (at startup). How can I
do that in
Win95?
Thanks

Startup Manager (Brad Stowers)

(Startman.exe down at the bottom)
This is a free and painless way to manipulate the Startup procedures.

And here's a complete list of all the places from which items can load in
different Windows versions, and how to manually change them. This
information gives you much more permanent control than MSCONFIG.
