SYS.INI is not a Windows file.  You only need vnetbios.vxd if you have
networking components installed. Neither file will affect the use of the CD.

You need to tackle each problem one at a time. Start with any one and make
sure you describe the exact issue - the error message, when it occurs, what
you have tried so far (I can't tell from your description whether you're
running W95 or W98, and that's important).

For instance, if you want to address the CD issue we would need to know what
you mean by 'wont work'. Is there an error, is the error different for
different disks or in different applications, has the device disappeared
from device manager, have you tried removing and reinstalling the device,
etc?
