Windows Forum / Windows 95 / November 2003command interpreter
Trying to start win 95 it keeps coming up c:\type the name of the command interpreter ( eg command.com ) enybody know. Go to http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm and create a boot floppy. Use it to start the problem computer, type "sys c:" and press "Enter". Then remove the floppy and restart. To do this from DOS, type XCOPY C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\COMMAND.COM \ If that doesn't work, use your emergency boot disk to boot your PC and type SYS C: that should work.
