My brother was trying to reinstall windows 95,
Now when you turn computer on it asks to reinstall the
software that uses the file c:windows\system\vmm32
\vwin32.vxd . I'm just trying to help him what should
I do next ?

The re-installation has failed - do it again. First, make sure that
whatever reason caused him to re-install Windows in the first place (eg, RAM
problems, or hard disk errors, etc) has been properly fixed.

Tell him to rename the "c:\windows\system\vmm32" folder and
try the reinstall again.

software that has that it could be a lot, try this
reinstall win95 back on use the typical installation and
when windows ask if you want to keep your current files
click no then windows will install a new copy of windows
on the pc and it wii ask for the certificat number but it
in and windows will not ask again
