I am currently trying to install Windows 95, from
floppies, onto an IBM Thinkpad 390e with a non-functioning
CD-ROM.  I get done with the 3rd floppy, to where I'm
supposed to choose which type of installation I want to
do.  No matter which one I choose, I get an error message
telling me that it cannot read the Windows 95 Setup Disk,
and to make sure the drive door is closed, etc.  Is there
something I need to do in the BIOS or some other option
that I have to select to get past this?  Any help anyone
could offer would be greatly appreciated.

This is usually a bad floppy.  Scandisk may repair it or you
could create a replacement with the instructions provided by Ron
