trying to upgrade from win 95 to win98 with a disk. I
keep getting an alarm saying, there is already an
operating system installed. window can't install win 98
with this set up. get install 98 upgrade. I tried the
microsoft site, but couldn't find exactally what it said.
Can I just deleate win 95 and then install win 98 and how
would I do that. Thanks for your help.

You most likely have an OEM version of win98 which was designed for a clean
install.

Make sure you have the Product key before proceeding. It is 25 characters in
5 groups of 5.
