about ten months ago I bought a new dell with windows
xp.  Now I want to download my tax info from my old
computer which used 95.  I have not used it for all these
months and now it won't accept the windows password,
which is the one I used for almost ten years. I can't get
in and don't know where to turn.  Any advise?  Thanks

start in safe mode, do a search for all files with the ".pwl" extension, and
delete them.

Just press escape when it asks you for a password. It will bypass the
password screen. You will then be able to search your hard disk for the
files you need

See - Windows 95/98 was VERY secure.
