Can anyone help me ?
Whenever I open my web I get an unfamiliar browser
page . So I go to My Yahoo , my preferred browser and
supposed home page , and reset it is my home page .
Repeatedly . But when I try to jump to a page either from
a search or even a topic on my home page , I get the "
illegal operation " message and then a warning that
internet explorer will shutdown and that I should restart
my computer ..... ?????? Huh ?

Assuming you're using some version of IE, install a copy of Ad-Aware, delete
your cache and cookies, and install (reinstall) the latest IE6.  Then reset
your preferences.

Sounds like you need CWShredder to get rid of some variant of CoolWeb. Ad-Aware
may/maynot find the reminants as they are varied & scattered.
Get here: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html
