Hello,

I have reformatted and partitioned my hardrive on my IBM
Thinkpad 760E.  When I restart now I get "Missing
Operating System"?  How can I get out of this mess?  I
tried rebooting with a startup disk, but no luck.  Also,
how can I upgrade to ME (from 95)?  I have tried setup.exe
at the dos prompt, but no luck.  Thanks for any assistance
you can give.  Mike

Format the drive again.  Then run "setup.exe" from the "Win95"
directory of the Windows CD.

if the bios has an option to boot fist from cd
you can boot right from you winME cd and install windows

if it's an upgrade version you will need your win95 cd just
for verification
