I am trying to use Detto IntelliMover software (and a
parallel cable) to move files, etc. off my old Windows 95
machine to a new Windows SP machine. I have no writeable
capability on the old machine other than 3.5 floppy. I
have Windows 95 version 4.00.950a on the old machine and
the software will not load because it says I need at least
version 95B.

Does anyone know if there is a download available that
would allow me to upgrade my old version 4.00.950a to at
least the B version? Thanks.

Win95B, also known as OSR2, is an OEM version that was never
sold at retail, unless installed in a new machine.  There is no
upgrade to it from Original Win95.
You can probably still buy a copy on ebay.

It's not recommended or supported, but if you visit www.bootdisk.com, I
think you can find a procedure that will do the job.
