Want to install W98 on a 486Dx75 laptop (36MB Ram) with
W95 as the existing OS.  The laptop has only a 340MB HD
(212 MB free), no CD-ROM, but networked to another W98SE
computer with CD.  I have a non-upgrade version of W98.
Appreciate help on how to proceed?

Although win98 can work on a 486 ...it will be so slow that it will be
almost
unusable.
You don't have enough free space on your harddrive to install it anyway...
so stick with win95.
