How do you know you're missing these? What happens? What says they're
missing? What changes were made to the computer soon before this began?

Fastest palce to get them would be to download a set of bootdisks for your
OS from www.bootdisk.com.  The references for these files can be looke up in
CONFIG.SYS.

Or, if you ahve a copy of DOS 6.22, just run MemMaker and let the gui take
care of things for you.
