Making a diskette loadable version from CD

I had a friend bring me a laptop with Windows 3.1 loaded
on it. He would like to get it upgraded to 95, but there
is no CDROM in the laptop. All I have is a Windows 95 CD.
Is there a way to create the diskettes needed to load
Windows 95?
